Due to expansion and growth, our client, a well-established leading provider within their field, currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join their team.
Salary circa £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus bonus & excellent benefits package.
As Account Manager you will be a key member of the Sales Team and will report directly to the Head of Sales.
Your key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Communicating with the Head of Sales to obtain accurate order information
- Checking materials for production
- Loading order to the system and creating work tickets
- Progress chasing orders
- Compiling and submitting quotations
- Managing key accounts
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and Company
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Strategic planning to improve client results
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Estimating
To be successful in the role of Account Manager, you may have previously worked as a Sales Representative, Key Accounts Manager, Client Relations Manager, Business Development Manager or Customer Success Manager and you will possess the following qualities:
- Proven estimating experience
- Analytical
- Persistence
- Accurate attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and understanding the need to meet deadlines
- System knowledge and problem solving
- Computer literacy
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good customer care skills
- Desire to help business growth
Please note that a DBS check and credit reference check will be a mandatory requirement for this role on appointment.
This position is based in Ilkeston and is easily commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Alfreton, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Matlock and Farnsfield.
