£32,000 to £34,000 per annum

The business are seeking to recruit a CNC Programmer  - they are an established precision engineering company who produce precision turned parts and components, they are seeking to add to the team due to their continued success.

Reporting to the Works Manager - the main purpose of the role to program, set, and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision machines parts and components.

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

  • Programming, setting and operation of fixed head CNC machines and some sliding head machines
  • Inspection of finished components ensuring they are correct to specification drawings
  • Read, interpret and understand technical drawing details
  • Ensure machine is running to optimal level
  • Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified
  • Use of measuring equipment to establish correct fit and tolerance of machined parts to drawings 

 

I would be keen to receive your application if you hold the following experience;

  • Previous CNC Programming experience
  • A deep working knowledge of Fanuc controls and fully programming Fanuc lathes
  • Hold CNC Turning experience
  • Fixed and Sliding head machinery experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • A "can do" attitude and punctual

 

The role is Days - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and 8am to 1pm on Friday 

The company are based in Birmingham so are easily commutable from Solihull, Wolverhampton, Droitwich, Dudley, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Stratford upon Avon, Studley, Henley in Arden., Redditch.

Salary - £32,000 to £34,000 per annum
