Our client are a leading, family run business with many successful years’ experience in their industry and they are currently recruiting for an experienced Group Parts Manager to join the business at one of their local Devon sites. As Group Parts Manager you will ultimately have overall responsibility for the running of the Parts department for the company, covering multiple sites.
Salary circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus Van.
As Group Parts Manager, you will report directly into the Group Product Support Manager and your key responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and development of Parts Team Leaders
- Working closely with the procurement Team Leader
- Proactively develop, manage and grow the parts operations
- Discount authorisation
- Monthly KPI reports for the parts department
- Monthly and annual targets for parts department
- Continually identify new areas of growth
To be successful in the role of Group Parts Manager, you will possess the following qualities:
- Competent knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiar with John Deere or competitive products
- Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions
- Excellent customer service / communications skills
- Problem solving capability
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required
This position will be based in one of their local Devon sites and would be easily commutable from South Molton, Tiverton, Minehead, Chudleigh, Taunton, Newton Abbot, Humber, Teignmouth, Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth.
