Swift Temps are looking for an experienced industrial recruitment consultant to join our growing team in Preston!
Opening in 2020, the Preston Office is part of a network of Swift branches across the North West & Midlands. We deal primarily with Industrial temporary recruitment but also cover commercial and driving roles. We're a very informal office with a great atmosphere, and as part of Swift Temps NW we report directly to our MD who visits weekly and is always on hand to talk to anybody, consultants & management alike.

We offer a generous salary based on experience as well as a competitive bonus structure, and work Mon-Fri 8-5 (4pm finish on a Friday!). You will be dealing with a large area with unlimited potential.
Job Role;
As an Industrial consultant for Swift Temp's Recruitment, you will be tasked with developing your own desk combining both local and national contracts by supplying the best talent on offer. This role will enable you to build lasting relationships with both candidates and clients who will trust you to support them daily. You will be working from our Preston Office with our team of consultants headed up by our Branch Manager. This role will require continued hard work in all aspects of the role but can be as equally rewarding.
Must Have Skills;
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Previous experience as a recruitment consultant
- Good Telephone Manner
- Confidence to make cold call and visits to potential new clients
- Hard Work Ethic
- Ability to deal with difficult phone calls
- Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Good Punctuality
- Ability to organise a busy calendar
- Ability to be on rotational on call
Hours of Work;
- Monday to Thursday 08:00am-17:00pm
- Friday 08:00-16:00
- No weekend working and no overtime requirements apart from on call.
Pay Rates;
- £24,000 - £27,000 Salary (depending on experience)
- Bonuses awarded monthly on a tiered target system
- Uncapped OTE
- With hard work the bonuses can be very rewarding.
- 45p per mile business mileage
- Statutory holidays plus 1 per year of service
- Profit and Loss Bonus Paid Annually
