The client are a successful and established manufacturer of electric motors, generators etc. They are seeking to complement their team by the recruitment of an Internal Sales Engineer.
The role will report directly to the Commercial Manager and the main purpose of the role will be to provide product sales support to new and existing clients, resulting in product sales growth.
Key responsibilities and duties would be;
- Using product knowledge and product experience to achieve sales growth
- Actively follow up on sales quotations from sales team to secure sales orders
- Provide support and solutions to customers using a sales focused manner
- Customer contract order management
- Provide technical support to colleagues in client facing roles
- Completion of product price and delivery requests promptly
- Provide written quotations to customers
- Providing technical support and commissioning assistance to customers via telephone and/or onsite if required.
I would be keen to receive your application if you hold the following skills and expertise;
- Strong working knowledge of low voltage motors
- Holding some working knowledge of geared motors, low voltage speed drives, soft starters or controls would be advantageous
- Experience of different applications and their control philosophy
- Knowledge of rotating machines and associated control and protection systems
- Qualified to HNC or equivalent in mechanics, engineering or electronics
The role is Days - 5 days a week
The company are based in Redditch so are easily commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich, Dudley, Bromsgrove, Alcester
