Due to expansion and growth, our client, a leading provider within their field, currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lithographic Printer to join their team.
Salary £13.83 per hour + 20% shift allowance & excellent benefits package. Hours of work will be 6am – 1pm / 1pm – 8pm (Monday to Friday) rotating weekly.
As Lithographic Printer you will report directly to the Factory Manager and your key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Achieve high performance in terms of throughput and quality from running continuous Lithographic Printing Presses
- Operate equipment at maximum efficiency and speed consistent with all quality requirements of work
- Ensure that work is monitored as required for quality and that all formal quality procedures are adhered to in full
- Ensure Information Security Procedures are adhered to in full in line with ISO27001
- Ensure that all shop floor data collection is accurate and input correctly at all times
To be successful in the role of Lithographic Printer you will possess the following qualities:
- Experience of operating continuous lithographic printing presses (Imer & Grapha)
- Guillotine experience
- Organised and methodical approach to working in a production environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
Please note that SC Security Clearance with the Home Office will be a mandatory requirement for this role on appointment.
This position is based in Handsworth and is easily commutable from West Bromwich, Smethwick, Great Barr, Perry Barr, Aston and other surrounding areas of Birmingham.
