The company carry out design, refurb and manufacture of vehicle recovery transport. Due to a period of significant growth they are seeking to recruit a MIG Fabricator Welder to join their team.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager the aim of the role is to fabricate and weld to set drawings and plans to correct specification
Key responsibilities and duties would be;
- Carry out welding MIG work on heavy gauge mild steel and aluminium steel
- Carry out fabrication using oxy acetylene cutting tools, plasma cutting, press brake operation, hand tools
Are you a welder with the following skills and experience?
- Excellent MIG welding skills
- Able to weld and fabricate thick heavy gauge mild steel and aluminium steels
- Use fabrication tools such as plasma cutters, oxy acetylene, hand tools etc
- Interpret and understand technical engineering drawings
- Have a "can do" approach to working and able to work on own initiative
- Able to work in a team
The role is Days - 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
The company are based in the Droitwich area but are easily commutable from Redditch, Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Kidderminster, Worcester.
