Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Auditor to join their team. As Quality Auditor you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance team, reporting directly to the Quality Assurance and Technical Contract Review Manager.
Hours of work will be 07.30 – 16.30 (Mon – Thurs) and 07.30 – 12.30 (Friday).
Salary circa £33,000 – £38,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus competitive benefits package.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Participate in improvements to existing Quality Management systems, processes and Facilities to continuously improve services to our customer base
- Participate and progress personal objectives set out by Management to aid continuous improvement throughout the business
- Participate in the deployment of quality management system in all areas of the business.
- Perform Quality assurance audit activity across the business maintaining the audit schedule.
- Support and co-ordinate business unit based internal audit resource
- Update internal audit records, facilitate timely closure of audit findings
- Interface with external audit activity of company quality management system
- Support quality record retention activities in all areas of the operation
- Lead Industry standard specification reviews to ensure company internal systems comply with international and customer requirements.
- Support General Specification review as required
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to all areas of the business of internal/external audit findings
- Issue and control of inspection stamps
- Maintain quality instructions and administration of the intranet.
- Download and administer customer and international specifications
To be successful in the role of Quality Auditor you will possess the following qualities:
- AS9100 internal auditor qualification
- Proven track record of working within a similar role
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
