Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Office Manager to join their team. As Sales Office Manager you will play an integral role within sales and be responsible for the effective, efficient and accurate administration of the sales activities.

Salary circa £35,000 per annum, depending upon experience.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • To oversee repeat quotation/order entry process
  • To ensure quotation and order acceptance process is compliant with Export regulations
  • To execute contract amendments and manage annual pricing adjustments
  • To complete follow up activities to secure orders from repeat quotations via telephone and customer visits as necessary
  • To maintain and update departmental KPI’s relation to all quotation activities
  • To develop skills necessary to complete quotations for repeat items
  • Planning proactive - anticipates problems and develops effective plans / contingency actions
  • Communication – ensures key messages are understood and the required actions are taken
  • Problem solving – is able to solve problems and get things done
  • Robustness – copes well with pressure, uncertainty and changing circumstances

To be successful in the role of Sales Office Manager, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience within a Commercial leadership / internal sales environment
  • Should have customer and supplier awareness
  • Engineering / Manufacturing and Logistics experience would be beneficial.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills, strong meeting facilitation skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must have an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Understanding of inventory control
  • Able to communicate effectively internally and externally both verbally and written
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Good numeracy / literacy skills
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word , PowerPoint)
  • Full clean driving licence

This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
