Our client, a powerful and progressive global industrial business, are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Support Engineer to join their team. As Sales Support Engineer you will ultimately be working closely with OEM Account Managers and external sales functions supporting the profitable growth of innovative products to the commercial vehicle sector. You will provide technical and commercial support to both colleagues and customers.

As Sales Support Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage designated accounts as the primary point-of-contact for all issues, including ongoing communications and coordination of projects
- Review customer requirements and provide recommendations on suitable product solutions. Creating customer proposals and budgetary quotations
- Answer detailed technical enquiries on the function and operation of the products
- Develop and maintain training programs for the sale of assigned products
- Preparing product quotations & presentations
- Maintain documentation to support the standard sales process
- To provide commercial & technical support to sales organizations and partners
- Handle customer requests for assistance or complaints and initiate responses and/or corrective actions as required
To be successful in the role of Sales Support Engineer, you will possess the following qualities:
- Proven background within Mechanical Engineering
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office applications (Access, Word, Excel)
- Previous experience of Product Specialist / Product support role preferably with an engineering background
- High level of commercial awareness
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements and multiple projects
This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
