Injection Mould Toolmaker / Manager is required to join a highly successful, leading injection moulders based in Worcestershire. As Injection Mould Toolmaker / Manager you will ultimately be responsible for the smooth running of the toolroom. Salary is dependent upon experience. Hours of work will be 08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.30 – 13.00 Fridays.
This is a hands-on role therefore, being a competent and self-managing Toolmaker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Tool repairs, servicing and manufacture of new injection mould tooling
- Liaise with designers, suppliers and customers
- Setting procedures, time management and costing of job sheets
- Assist in securing new work
- Machining, spark erosion, measurement, drilling, jig boring, grinding, CNC, benching and assembly
To be successful in the role of Injection Mould Toolmaker / Manager, you may have previously worked as a Toolroom Supervisor, Senior Toolmaker or Toolroom Manager and you will possess the following qualities:
- Proven, steady track record of working within an injection mould toolmaking environment
- Knowledge of all aspects associated with toolroom facilities in relation to injection mould tooling
- Good time management skills
- Self-driven with the ability to work on own initiative
- Commercial understanding
- Clean driving licence
- FLT counterbalance licence
This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Worcester, Birmingham and Warwick.
