The client are an established and successful manufacturer of products and technology to industries such as civil engineering, construction and land surveying. They are seeking to strengthen their technical support team.

The duties and responsibilities for the role will be;

  • To provide technical support over the phone, e-mail, live chat to clients and customers on company products and technology
  • Customer training on hardware or software
  • To ensure the very best level of support to all customers 
  • Promote customer awareness of after sales products such as customer care packages, training courses etc
  • Carry out testing of existing customer equipment


If you hold the following skills and experience then I would be interested in receiving your application;

  • Survey/Civil Engineering experience with at least 1 to 2 years site experience - holding relevant industry based qualifications
  • Experience in GNSS systems and software, total stations equipment and the use and application of this technology within the construction industry
  • A working knowledge of survey / construction instruments (GNSS, TPS, Laser) - this would prove advantageous
  • A strong aptitude to technology and associated software developments
  • Understanding technical and mechanical issues relating to surveying and engineering
  • Experience of working in the construction industry
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)


The company is based near Milton Keynes so will be easily commutable from Northampton, Bedford, Brackley, Luton.
