Swift Placements have an amazing opportunity within our client whose business is supplying to the Food Service, fast food, and wholesale sectors across the UK. Our client operates as a national wholesale and Food Service distribution business.
Due to company expansion, an opportunity has a risen to join a rapidly growing sales team as a Telesales Executive. You will be based within our depot and will need to be highly motivated, driven, ambitious and enthusiastic.
The job role includes:
- Managing inbound and outbound sales calls
- Ensuring all orders given by our customers are recorded and entered accurately on our SAP system
- Comparing current orders with previous orders to identify any sales opportunities
- Using sales skills to up-sell any promotional offers
- Creating opportunities to sell additional products and build lasting relationships with customers
- Maintaining excellent knowledge of our product range and promotions
- Using sales skills to sell short-dated and damaged stock to customers
About you:
- At least 1 year of telesales experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong knowledge of computer office programmes for example; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
