Traffic Planner
We are recruiting for a Traffic Planner in the North Yorkshire area. My client is a well known long established national transport provider in transport, general haulage and distribution
As a Traffic Planner you will need to have:
- Must have brick and block experience and or general haulage experience
- CPC preferred – but not essential
- Worked within a similar position with at least 3-year experience
- IT Knowledge
Details:
- Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 DOE
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday
- Location: North Yorkshire
- Duration: Permanent
Role of a Traffic Planner:
- Ensure company compliance with all transport policies, legislation and procedures
- Efficiently plan all of the company's vehicles
- Identify operational issues, potential problems and opportunities to improve the service and efficiency of transport operations
- Dealing with multi-drop deliveries & solving any issues on the road
- Deal with the dispatches, collections and returns
- Ensure all deliveries are quality checked, correctly packaged and allocated
- Arranging the day-today schedules of the company flee
- Good Communication skills
- Sound IT skills
- The ability to work as a team
- Geographical knowledge are skills we would look for, but most importantly a can-do attitude
